What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I love small-field and single-entry tournaments. The key for me on the slate is to get as much exposure to the Lakers as possible. They have the best matchup on the board, as the Wizards are dead last in both points allowed per game and defensive rating. The Lakers already project well and would see a major boost if Anthony Davis (questionable) ends up being out.

headChopper: I’ll be playing 100 lineups in large-field, top-heavy GPPs. It’s a smaller slate, but 3 games tip off early, giving us a big break before deciding what to do with the 2 late games. The Lakers will be popular, and while I’ll have exposure to them, I plan to set rules to limit lineups with both Anthony Davis and LeBron James together. I want to break up some of the Lakers chalk. With limited value currently available, I won’t go overweight on any of the cheaper options. Instead, I’ll cap my exposure to those value plays and mix-and-match them across my lineups.

tcsmith031: 20-max GPPs for me tonight. I like both sides of that WAS/LAL game, but I don’t mind a TOR/ORL game stack either. The Magic don’t offer as much resistance with Jalen Suggs and Goga Bitadze out of the lineup, while RJ Barrett and Scottie Barnes both get boosts without Immanuel Quickley. It’s only a matter of time until the Magic ease the minutes limit for Paolo Banchero, and there’s also useful cheap value on both sides between Wendell Carter, Bruce Brown, Gradey Dick, and Anthony Black. This game doesn’t have a high total, but it does have the tightest spread, with the Magic listed as 1-point road favorites.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
