NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, March 10
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Jalen Johnson
headChopper: Jalen Johnson
ncorfield8k: Bam Adebayo
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
Notorious: Jalen Johnson – We should have plenty of value, which means we don’t have to work too hard to fit a superstar or two into our lineups. Johnson is my favorite spend on the board, as he draws a nice matchup at home against the Mavericks (5th in pace, 23rd in points allowed per game this season). He has scored at least 55 fantasy points in 8 of the last 12 games and offers the highest floor/ceiling combo of any player on the slate.
headChopper: Bam Adebayo – Ke’lel Ware has been ruled out. It’s pretty simple math here: Ware has missed 4 games this season, and Adebayo has led the Heat in fantasy points in every one of those games. Even in a 30-point blowout against the Jazz, he still played 31 minutes and racked up 50+ fantasy points with Ware out. So I think he can still crush even with blowout concerns, and we get him in a matchup that might be the best in the NBA for opposing fantasy players.
ncorfield8k: Bam Adebayo – Ke’lel Ware’s absence should mean a higher minutes ceiling and more usage for Adebayo. I’ll like Adebayo either way, but he’ll look especially great if Tyler Herro misses the game, as the game will be likelier to stay competitive and there will be a lot more usage to go around. It’s a great matchup with the Wizards, who have played at the 7th-fastest pace in the league over their last 10 games while ranking 28th in defensive rating. It’s the 2nd-best matchup for a Versatile Big in our Defense vs. Archetype tool.
Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
