What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I love small-field and single-entry contests. This slate doesn’t have a lot of strong value plays, especially compared to most of the slates over the last couple of weeks. Many will be used to building stars and scrubs lineups, and I’m hoping many will try to force that type of construction tonight. I much prefer the balanced build on this short slate.

headChopper: My preferred play style today is small-field contests with single entry or 3-max. I really like the late-game hammer between the Clippers and Pelicans, so I’ll have multiple pieces from that game while fading a lot of the earlier spots, like Cleveland (blowout risk) and Washington (tough matchup and just a bad team).

tcsmith031: I’ll focus on single-entry GPPs tonight. The Clippers are really popping in early projections thanks to their terrific matchup against the Pelicans, yet the Pelicans side of the game is going a little overlooked. It’s a tough spot for the Pels, but I still like the idea of getting to Zion Williamson or Trey Murphy at limited pOWN% in lineups that contain at least two of Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Ivica Zubac. If the Clippers side really pops off, they may need the Pelicans to keep the game competitive.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
