NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, November 19

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Jamal Murray (FD) / Anthony Davis (DK)
headChopper: LeBron James
Stevietpfl: LeBron James
tcsmith031: LeBron James

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. Even though the Spurs don’t project well in the context of tonight’s slate, I want to be overweight on them in tournaments. They are playing at home in a pace-up spot against the Thunder and will be without Jeremy Sochan and Victor Wembanyama.

headChopper: Large-field GPPs (150-max) are my preferred option. I’ll have plenty of Brooklyn exposure in a good matchup with Charlotte and some affordable price tags. I’ll also be well over the field in exposure to the Lakers’ two stars (LeBron James and Anthony Davis), surrounded by that Brooklyn exposure.

Stevietpfl: I prefer single-entry contests. With these NBA Cup slates, we’ve had teams tighten up rotations and play starters more minutes. There is a lot of value for a smaller slate, and I will be taking advantage of the lower-owned value options. I still want to play guys like Dario Saric and Trey Murphy, but I’ll pair them with a lower-owned value option to make my stars-and-scrubs type of build work. I think all the studs are in play on this slate, and that presents another way to get different.

tcsmith031: This looks like a solid slate for large-field, multi-entry contests. The Nets are really popping as quality cheap values in projections, but I’ll be careful not to go overboard with loading up too many of them in the same lineup. I’ll consider a max of 2 Nets players in the $5,000 range and under. I also like the idea of getting pieces from both sides of CLE/BOS into the same lineup. I think we have shootout potential here, and the starters could see a few extra minutes in an NBA Cup clash.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
