Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Giannis Antetokounmpo – We have plenty of value on tonight’s slate, which makes spending up on Giannis an easy task when building lineups. With Damian Lillard gone, the Bucks have essentially been a one-man show this season. Giannis has averaged a ridiculous 2.16 DK / 2.10 FD points per minute. He boasts a 36% usage rate. I don’t want to fade the best play on the slate.

headChopper: Bam Adebayo – If you’re looking at pace, Miami ranks 1st in the NBA this season, while Charlotte ranks 3rd. Miami is also 2nd in possessions per game, meaning they’re playing much faster than we’re used to seeing, and that benefits Bam. This game should have a great rhythm with plenty of possessions for both sides. Bam has already double-doubled in 2 of the first 3 games, and this is his juiciest matchup of the season. His price tags on both sites sit in the high midrange, making him a great play.

ncorfield8k: Collin Sexton – With Brandon Miller out and Tre Mann possibly out, Sexton gets a bump in both minutes and usage. He also gets a pace-up spot against the Heat, who have been playing at the fastest pace in the league. The Heat rank 4th in defensive rating this season but are the 13th-best matchup for Combo Guards, according to the RotoGrinders Defense vs. Archetype metric.
