What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: It’s hard to believe, but 8 of the 9 games on the schedule have double-digit spreads. There’s no getting away from potential blowouts tonight, so I would worry more about the spot and matchup than the potential for blowouts. My plan tonight is to lock in Nikola Jokic and then build around him. On DraftKings, I like the 2-center approach with Paul Reed or Sandro Mamukelashvili.
Dean78904: We are in the dog days of the NBA schedule with a slate that is full of massive spreads, teams that actively want to lose (Washington, Charlotte, and Utah), and good teams (Cleveland, Boston, and Oklahoma City) that are essentially locked into their playoff seeding. Our projections team does an excellent job, but the potential range of outcomes is subsequently higher now than they have been all season, so I will lean into variance more tonight than I typically would.
ncorfield8k: With large spreads and questionable motivations all over the slate, tonight will be an important one to pay attention to starting lineups and injury news. Late swap will be key. Even the Nuggets, who have a lot to play for, may not play their starters (or give them big minutes) after a very long night last night.
