What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. This slate is absolutely massive, so there will be a ton of strong plays that get overlooked. Strangely enough, there aren’t a ton of great spends at the moment. For that reason, I plan to take more of a balanced approach and use the semi-cheap options instead of the pure punts.
Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. I will be more open than I typically am to get away from the chalk. With it being such a massive slate, there are going to be a slew of good plays that have subdued pOWN%. If there is one star player that rises in pOWN% among everyone else, I will seriously consider fading them in single-entry contests.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – With 14 games, reacting to news as it comes will be crucial. While I think it would be ill-advised to skip the games at lock, I will be cognizant of when players’ games start and skip some of the shakier plays from early games in hopes that better plays open up as we get starting lineups and injury news.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
Notorious: Bol Bol – I hate to put too much stock into a sample size of 2 games, but Bol has made the most of his increased playing time.
