Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Amen Thompson – With Kevin Durant out, there’s a lot of usage to go around in this offense. It’s been a slow start to the season for Thompson, but he has averaged 1.05 DK / 1.07 FD points per minute over the last 3 games. He’s coming off of his best game in weeks, as he put up 49 fantasy points against the Suns. I think this could be the start of a nice run for Thompson.

Dean78904: Devin Booker – Booker hasn’t been in the best of form of late, but I can see him playing close to 40 minutes in an NBA Cup game where the Suns enter 2-0. We don’t know for sure how much they prioritize the Cup, but I feel like the Suns are the type of team that would really want to advance in the tournament. They will once again be without Jalen Green, Grayson Allen, and Ryan Dunn, which should boost Booker’s usage but also probably makes it a little tougher for him to rack up assists since some of the Suns’ best shooters aren’t playing. Officially, I’m going back and forth for tournaments, but if nothing else, Booker looks to be one of the slate’s best big spends for cash games.

ncorfield8k: Brandon Ingram – Ingram has played at least 36 minutes in each of the past 2 games. He faces a Pacers team that has played at the 9th-fastest pace in the league and ranks 23rd in defensive rating. It’s a particularly strong individual matchup too – the Pacers are the best matchup in the NBA for Scoring Wings, according to our Defense vs. Archetype tool.
