Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Darius Garland (FD) / Kevin Durant (DK)

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Kevin Durant and Amen Thompson – With Alperen Sengun and Marcus Smart both out, the offense is going to funnel through KD and Thompson. They are both underpriced for their projected roles and should both see an uptick in usage and FP/min. production. They have an elite matchup against the Bucks, who are 2nd in pace and 25th in points allowed per game this season. Their salaries are low enough that you can pair them together.

Dean78904: Pascal Siakam – We’re dealing with really small samples to start the year (30 minutes), but when both Ivica Zubac and Tyrese Haliburton are off the court, Siakam has averaged 1.46 fantasy points per minute. Unsurprisingly, Pascal led Indiana in usage, and he saw assist and rebounding boosts. We’ve seen Siakam play 35 and 37 minutes in the 2 close games the Pacers have played this season. If we get another close game, he should play a boatload of minutes while having a massive offensive role, making him one of my top plays on the board.

ncorfield8k: Karl-Anthony Towns – Towns is not going to be extremely contrarian, but I expect to be over the field in tournaments. The matchup with the Bulls is as good as it gets. They play at the fastest pace in the league and rank 27th in defensive rating. It’s the 3rd-best matchup for a high-usage Versatile Big in our NBA matchup tool. And the spread is just 6.5, so Towns should see a full allotment of minutes.
