What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I will be playing small-field tournaments. If you are playing the final regular season slate of the year, I hope you know your rotations well. Or at the very least, I hope you trust the RotoGrinders projections team. Almost every team is resting players. My plan of attack is to spend up on the Bulls (Coby White, Nikola Vucevic) and on Payton Pritchard. I’ll fill in the value plays around them. It’s not a bad idea to leave salary on the table.
Krayton: It’s hard to believe it’s the last regular season slate of the year, and it is a crazy one! I am just playing a single-entry lineup, and I am locking in Payton Pritchard and will make sure I have heavy exposure to CHI. I agree with Noto and TJ that it makes sense to pay up for the Bulls, and I will be including at least one of Coby White or Nikola Vucevic into my lineup, if not both.
TJ Zwarych: For the final slate of the season, I’ll be sticking to my usual contests and running 150 lineups in large-field GPPs. It’s a large slate, but I plan to eliminate entire teams from my pool and cut it down as much as possible while making sure I have at least one Bull in every single lineup.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
