NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, December 2

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

tcsmith031: There’s plenty of usage to go around for the Jazz with Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson, and Kelly Olynyk all out. Keyonte George (26.7%), Collin Sexton (25.9%), and John Collins (22.2%) should be focal points offensively for a very shorthanded Utah team in an exploitable matchup vs. Portland.

Krayton: The ATL/MIL game has a 252.5 total, and it’s the 2nd-highest total that we have seen all season. Trae Young has a 31% usage which is 6% higher than that of Dejounte Murray. Trae is also 2nd overall in the NBA with 10.6 assists per game. Both Trae (10th) and Dejounte (6th) are in the top 10 for steals per game at 1.6 and 1.8 each. This looks like a tremendous game-stacking option.

TastefulTides: The Indiana Pacers are 1st in offensive rating and 1st in pace. They rank 28th in defensive rating. This is a massive pace-up spot for the Heat, who are above average in offensive rating.

TJ Zwarych: If the Pacers are without Tyrese Haliburton, I don’t think they’ll be able to play at the same blistering pace they have throughout the season. Their offense has been historic to date, but it’ll be tough to keep up without their best player.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
