NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, February 3

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

tcsmith031: Luka Doncic has played at least 40 minutes in 4 of the last 5 games. Considering he’s averaging upwards of 1.7 DK FP/minute on the season with Kyrie Irving out, it’s pretty easy to argue that Doncic is still too cheap for the insane role he’s playing on a nightly basis.

Krayton: Isaiah Hartenstein has now scored double-digit points in the last 3 games since Julius Randle has been out and has 35 rebounds in those 3 games. The Lakers are also allowing the 8th-most rebounds to centers, and with Randle out and Mitchell Robinson still out, Hartenstein is in a great spot tonight. His price actually went down $200 on DK to $6,300 even after putting up 47.8 DK points (12 points and 19 rebounds) last game against the Pacers.

TastefulTides: In the three games since Julius Randle went down with an injury, Jalen Brunson has a staggering 36.74% usage rate. That is 6% higher than his season total. In that same time frame, Donte DiVincenzo has a 26.94% usage rate, which also 6% higher than his season total.

TJ Zwarych: The DAL/MIL and GSW/ATL games feature totals of 244.5 and 255.5 points while no other game on the slate has a total above 230 points.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
