NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, March 23

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

tcsmith031: Jalen Green was looking like a bust just a few weeks ago, but he’s turned it around of late. With Alperen Sengun and Cam Whitmore off the floor, Green is sporting a team-best 34.8% usage rate alongside a tidy 1.27 DK FP/minute rate. His hot shooting run could come to an end at any point, though I’d say that’s unlikely to happen tonight in an elite matchup against a porous Utah defense.

Krayton: Victor Wembanyama is now up to an elite 1.70 FP/minute and has been seeing between 32-36 minutes in each of his last four games. He is a phenomenal tournament play every night he is on the slate.

TastefulTides: With Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday, and Kristaps Porzingis off the court Derrick White has had the biggest usage increase. CourtIQ has White at 30.95% with those players out, which is 11.8% higher than his season average. We also have Jayson Tatum and Al Horford questionable, so that would only make Derrick White even more of a standout play.

TJ Zwarych: Payton Pritchard has the safest role with the Celtics, playing big minutes regardless of whether the game stays close. He’s reached at least 30 DK points in 4 straight games.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Epignosis
Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
