NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, December 17

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

tcsmith031: The Wizards are second in the NBA in pace and 30th in defensive rating. The Suns’ 129.5 implied team total tonight is one of the highest marks we’ve seen all season. Kevin Durant and Devin Booker both have usage rates north of 32% with Bradley Beal off the floor, and you couldn’t ask for a better matchup.

Krayton: Bilal Coulibaly has now gone for over 30 minutes in each of his last three games while scoring over 25 fantasy points as well. In spite of Washington using a big rotation, Coulibaly is a one of my favorite bring-back options with Phoenix being a popular team today.

TastefulTides: More of a strategy than a statistic, but I would lean more heavily into game stacks. On such a small slate, correlation is more important than on larger slates. If one of your stacks happen to land in overtime, you could be line for a big GPP win.

TJ Zwarych: The Phoenix Suns have an implied total of 13.7 points higher than their season average, while the Bucks’ implied total is 4.8 points lower than their season average.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
