NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, October 29
Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?
tcsmith031: Victor Wembanyama was held to just 23 minutes in his debut because of foul trouble, but it’s worth noting that he only played 31 minutes in the last game, including all 5 minutes of overtime. He wasn’t saddled with foul trouble in that one, which seems to indicate that the Spurs may want to take it easy with his playing time early on. He’s a scary fade given his production, but I’ll be under the field here in a poor matchup against the Clippers.
krayton: Victor Wembanyama will continue to be someone I will be overweight until he is priced is the $9-10k range. He has a 31% usage to start the season, and we saw him put up points in a hurry in the OT win over Houston on Friday night. He is also averaging 1.4 FP/Min to start the season. He will be a GPP-focus play for me today due to his massive upside.
TastefulTides: Last season, Giannis Antetokounmpo had a 38.96% usage rate. In his first game with Damian Lillard, Giannis posted a 40.89% usage rate. Remove Khris Middleton from today’s game, and we should see a true two-man game between Giannis and Dame. I think you can pair them together on the same GPP team.
TJ Zwarych: On a small slate, the Milwaukee Bucks stand out as the top team on the slate with a 123 total and Khris Middleton resting upon return from an injury. Giannis and Dame are by far my two favorite spend ups on the slate, and I’ll have at least one of them in every single lineup.
