NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, December 5
Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?
Notorious: Even though Khris Middleton isn’t playing his usual allotment of minutes every game, he has played 27 and 29 minutes recently. With a chance for Milwaukee to advance to the semifinals of the In-Season Tournament, perhaps we see a season-high in minutes for Middleton.
squirrelpatrol: The Knicks have the lowest implied team total on the slate (112), but they also make up six of the 12 highest-owned players in our ownership projections on DraftKings and 4 of the top 9 on FanDuel.
headChopper: In last night’s tournament games, the 20 starters in the 2 games averaged over 34 minutes per game. This round has the feel of playoffs/play-in games, and we may see the rotations shorten just like the playoffs.
Stevietpfl: Devin Booker and Kevin Durant have played 201 minutes together this season. Booker has a 30.28% usage rate with a 38.9% assist rate, and he’s averaging 1.39 fantasy points per minute. Durant has a 25.8% usage rate with a 23% assist rate, and he’s averaging 1.33 fantasy points per minute.
TheLuuch: After a slow start to the DFS season, Giannis Antetokounmpo is back to putting up elite numbers. A big difference is his involvement on the defensive side of the ball. Across his first 10 games, he recorded 5 games with 1 (or fewer) total blocks + steals. But he’s had at least 3 stocks in each of his last 5 games and at least 4 stocks in 4 of his last 5 games. That’s how you pay off a hefty price tag.
