NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, January 16

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: This is a slate full of slow-paced and good defensive teams. However, there are 3 teams that are projected to score more points than their season averages — the Suns (+7.7), the Clippers (+3.6), and the Kings (+1.7). Injuries could open up options on the other 3 teams, but I am currently focusing my attention on the 3 teams with solid totals.

squirrelpatrol: On a slate with very little injury news, the absences of Ivica Zubac, Robert Covington, and Bol Bol could be larger than they would be on a larger slate. With Zubac out last game, Daniel Theis drew the start with Mason Plumlee backing him up, however, the team closed with Norman Powell. With Bol Bol out last game, Chimezie Metu gained additional run with 17 minutes, compared to less than 10 minutes in the previous few games.

headChopper: Ivica Zubac missed his first game of the season two nights ago, and Russell Westbrook got 29 minutes in that close game against Minnesota. Since he got moved to the bench (30 games ago), he’s only had 1 game when he played that many minutes, and that was a blowout back in December.

Stevietpfl: Sacramento ranks 29th in 3-point percentage allowed to opposing offenses this season at 39%. Over their last 3 games, they’re allowing 44%. They’re also 24th in opponent true shooting percentage.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
