Want to hit the nuts and take down 1st place in these massive contests posted by FanDuel and DraftKings? Who better to walk you through their favorite NBA DFS picks than Squirrelpatrol! Undoubtedly one of the best DFS players in the game today, Squirrelpatrol has accumulated 90+ Live Final seats, won the FanDuel 2021 World Fantasy Basketball Championship for $500,000, and most recently, took down the NFL Milly Maker in Week 2. Should we roster the chalk picks? How off-the-board should we get in large-field tournaments? Squirrel answers all of these questions and more below!
The NBA In-Season Tournament continues on Tuesday with 2 more games to complete the Quarterfinals. The Knicks face the Bucks in the first game of the night tipping off at 7:30 PM ET, with Milwaukee favored by 5 points in a game with a 229.5 total. The nightcap features the Suns facing the Lakers in Los Angeles, with the Lakers favored by 1 point in a game with a 229 total. The tournament has added a refreshing importance to the NBA regular season games, with starters playing increased minutes as the tournament has progressed and tighter rotations similar to the playoffs.
The injury report for tonight is fairly clear, with LeBron James carrying his usual questionable tag and Eric Gordon also listed as questionable for Phoenix. I’ll be assuming that both players are in, with Gordon a fairly easy late swap to one of Grayson Allen, Jordan Goodwin, or Josh Okogie should he be ruled out after lock. With limited injuries and more minutes for the starters, value could be tough to come by. Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.

High Flyers
Who are the players I’m picking first for my squad? These guys are the first selections for both my cash game and tournament lineups, and I’ll sacrifice elsewhere, if need be, to ensure I get them in:
Jalen Brunson
FanDuel: $8,300
DraftKings: $8,500
Brunson projects as one of the better point-per-dollar plays on the slate, but his High Flyer status is about position as much as value. On FanDuel, we have to play two PGs, and only 6 players at the position even project to put up fantasy points. On DraftKings, the positional requirements are more flexible, but Brunson still projects as the best point-per-dollar play of any guard projected for more than 40 fantasy points.
