Here is an overview of the preseason for anyone who is jumping into NBA preseason for the first time.
General Thoughts Regarding Preseason
The first thing we need to discuss is that the teams have fewer games this preseason than in years past since the regular season is bumped up earlier in October (in order to space out the games more for rest reasons). This will result in a somewhat condensed training camp, which we can absolutely use to our advantage. We are already seeing teams give more minutes to their main players as they try to get them in game shape, work on rotations, etc.
