So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Happy Monday!
Whether you were playing NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAAF, PGA, or any of the other sports, there was a ton to sweat over the weekend. We have a bit of a strange schedule in the association this week. There are 12 games today, 0 games on Tuesday, 14 games on Wednesday, and 2 games on Thursday. It’s like the NBA reads this article and does the exact opposite of what I ask. Seriously, why can’t we have between 5 and 10 games each and every day?
I usually like to start this article with a funny anecdote about my life, but I was stuck in my house with COVID all weekend. I saw my couch, my kitchen, my computer screen, and my bed. It’s funny how life works. When your schedule is full of plans and you feel like you are constantly on the go, all you want is some quiet time at home. When you are stuck at home, all you want to do is get out and see people. I’m feeling much better now, so I’m hoping to go back out in the real world today.

Team Previews
San Antonio Spurs (at IND): The Spurs have been a fun team to watch and they draw quite possibly the best matchup in the NBA. The Pacers are 3rd in pace and dead last in defensive rating this season (all of these stats can be found in the NBA First Look). Devin Vassell is not expected to play in tonight’s game and there’s always a chance the Spurs could rest players with this being the second half of a back-to-back. Victor Wembanyama is currently projecting as one of the top RG Values on the slate.
