NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Saturday, November 11th
A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. On weekends, jack-of-all-trades Taylor Smith takes the reins. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
We’ve only got 4 games on the NBA schedule for Saturday, and DraftKings and FanDuel are doing things differently. DK is including the MIL-ORL game and starting the main slate an hour earlier than usual at 6 PM ET. FD is excluding that game and going with a 3-gamer starting at 7 PM ET. None of the games on this slate have the same lock time, so if we have to worry about late swapping, this schedule makes it pretty easy. We do have a few questionable tags tonight, though the only one that’ll move the needle much from a DFS standpoint is Damian Lillard. He missed Thursday’s game with this calf issue, so we’ll see whether he’s feeling well enough to return tonight when the Bucks face the Magic in Orlando.
Otherwise, things are looking pretty tame. The Celtics are the only team on the latter half of a back-to-back, so Al Horford should be back after missing last night’s win over the Nets. Whoop-de-doo! Anyway, stay tuned throughout the day for any news. I’ll also be on Crunch Time with TJ and Tim in the 45 minutes or so leading up to lock, so hit up the RotoGrinders Discord to hang out with us and/or ask any questions you may have about the slate.

Team Previews
Milwaukee Bucks (at ORL): The Bucks picked up an impressive win in Indiana on Thursday night thanks to a 54-point explosion from Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis’ usage rate is hovering around 36% on the season regardless of whether he’s sharing the floor with Dame, though Khris Middleton (+6.1%), Bobby Portis (+3.4%), and Marjon Beauchamp (+3.3%) have seen notable usage boosts without Lillard. Cameron Payne drew the start and played 30 minutes the other night without Lillard, while Malik Beasley was more involved offensively. If Lillard returns, the Bucks aren’t all that appealing as a whole here against an Orlando defense ranking near the top of the league early in the season.
Orlando Magic (vs. MIL): The Magic lost a tough one to the Hawks in Mexico City the other night, and they’ll return home to host Milwaukee. The Bucks’ defense has been atrocious so far this season, so the Magic are only 4-point underdogs here. Gary Harris and Wendell Carter are still out. Markelle Fultz and Jalen Suggs will see the bulk of the minutes in the backcourt, while Goga Bitadze will be in line for another start at center. Goga and Moe Wagner are essentially splitting the minutes at this point. For the most part, this team is priced efficiently by now.
