The NBA is taking a light approach to this Sunday with just 4 games on the board for the main slates on DraftKings and FanDuel. This will be a long one, however. The first game tips at 6 ET, while the last game gets underway at 10. This does look like a nice little slate, though, with 4 solid games all featuring tight spreads. We also don’t have any tanking teams in action, so we won’t be seeing any shenanigans like what we’ve been dealing with from teams like the Wizards of late.

Let’s dive right in.

Here’s where I’ll provide news updates leading into lock.

Team Previews

Cleveland Cavaliers (at MIA): The first game of the night features the lowest total (203 points), and the Cavs are 4.5-point underdogs with a tiny 99.25 implied team total. Cleveland is still quite banged up, as Donovan Mitchell, Max Strus, and Dean Wade are all out again tonight. However, there’s a chance Evan Mobley (Q) returns after missing a few weeks with a sprained ankle. If he does suit up, he’ll almost surely be on some sort of minutes limit considering he hasn’t played since March 5th. Jarrett Allen still projects decently enough, though I’d have more interest at his elevated salaries if Mobley misses this one. Darius Garland (29.5%) and Caris LeVert (23.7%) should continue to handle most of the usage with Mitchell sidelined. This isn’t an ideal spot for either in a brutal matchup, but I don’t mind taking shots on Garland in particular despite a recent run of ragged form.
