Is it just me, or do kids get a lot more days off of school than we did? In addition to all of the usual holidays, there are teacher appreciation days, teacher conference days, fall break, winter break, and spring break. Sometimes, I don’t even know the reason for the day off. I’m not saying the teachers don’t deserve the time off because they do. I am a parent of one and struggle at times. I can’t imagine trying to wrangle 25 kids together to do multiplication and spelling tests. Luckily, I’m able to work from home. I’m not sure how parents who don’t work remotely deal with all of these days off. There’s no point to this rant, but I couldn’t help myself since today is a random kids get out two hours early school day.
There are 8 games on the schedule tonight, but only 6 of them are featured on the main slate. The MIA/DEN and WAS/LA both start at or after 10:00 PM ET, so they will be featured on the 2-game late slate. As always, we will cover all of the games in the team previews, but the rankings tables will only focus on the main slate. We have four teams playing in the front half of a back-to-back (Bucks, Hornets, Warriors, Wizards) and two teams playing in the second half of a back-to-back (Nuggets, Lakers).

Team Previews
Milwaukee Bucks (at CHA): We kick off the main slate with the Bucks, who are 17 games above .500 on the season. They have been beatable on the road (14-14) but should be able to pick up a win tonight against the Hornets. The season-long stats will tell you otherwise, but Charlotte has been a tough matchup recently. Over the last 10 games, they are 15th in pace and 5th in defensive rating. The Bucks come into the game with a total that is 6.8 points below their season average. With Khris Middleton still out, Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo are both viable in tournaments. I’ve never been a Brook Lopez truther, but he’s only $5,700 on DraftKings and facing one of the worst rebounding teams in the league.
Charlotte Hornets (vs. MIL): The Hornets have won 5 of their last 10 games, which is notable given the fact that they only have 15 wins on the season. They have made big strides defensively, which has helped keep games competitive. Tonight they host the Bucks, who are 5th in pace and 16th in defensive rating. The Hornets are large underdogs and have a total that is 4.7 points below their season average. As has been the case for weeks now, LaMelo Ball and Mark Williams are both out. The Hornets don’t project well, but they do have some upside if they can keep this game close. I have my eye on Tre Mann, Brandon Miller, and Cody Martin in tournaments.
