NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Wednesday, November 1st

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Happy Wednesday and happy November!
It turns out loading up on a team that was missing three of its best players wasn’t the best idea. The Cavaliers ended my night early, which was probably a good thing. Who needs to sweat a box score while trick-or-treating on Halloween? Who am I kidding, I would have loved a sweat.
The NBA slate is being wacky once again, as we have 13 games on tap tonight. I am writing this intro before doing my first dive into the slate and I can already assure you that we are going to have a day full of injury news. We have a lot to cover, so let’s dive into the team previews.

Team Previews
Portland Trail Blazers (at DET): The Blazers are coming off of their first win of the season, but this is not a team that is going to contend for the playoffs. Anfernee Simons is set to miss the next six weeks, which gives more minutes to Shaedon Sharpe and Scoot Henderson. From a DFS perspective, Sharpe should be a little more consistent, while Henderson is a better option in tournaments. Malcolm Brogdon will continue to be a key piece off the bench. He projects the best of anyone on the Blazers, but we shouldn’t be forcing anyone on this team into lineups on a 13-game slate.
