L.A. Clippers
Another game that features a huge total when the Clippers head to Phoenix. The Clippers score the fourth most points per game in the league and the Suns score the third most. The Clippers also are just a middle of the road defensive team this year. These reasons give us one of the highest totals of the year set at 221. The Clippers are small favorites so this is a great game to target. Redick and Crawford make decent cheap plays.
Elite Plays
Blake Griffin – Griffin has been playing some great basketball recently and his string of 40+ fantasy performances came to an end only because of a blowout performance against Brooklyn. He has a great match up against the inside defense of the Suns and should be a lock for 40 tonight. I think you need to pay up for one of the big time power forwards tonight and Blake gives you a bit of a salary cut from AD.
DeAndre Jordan – There are a few decent Center options tonight that are around the same price. I think Jordan makes for the safest option in cash games as he should have a field day with the bigs of Phoenix. He should be a lock for a double-double against the Suns who are 23rd ranked against the Center position.
Secondary Plays
Chris Paul – I like Paul a lot today as the pace of this game is exactly the type that Paul should excel in. I think his recent play may keep his ownership levels a bit down, but he has a chance for a huge performance tonight.
Phoenix
The Suns are coming off a devastating loss to the Rockets as Harden hit the buzzer-beater. They are at home in another tough matchup against the Clippers tonight. The Suns are playing some of their best basketball of the season recently and should keep this game close which should be great for fantasy purposes.
Elite Plays
Eric Bledsoe – Much of the success of the Suns in the month of January is due to the play of Bledsoe. He is playing some great basketball and the only issue here would be if Paul slid over to guard Bledsoe on offense. I teams are kind of stuck with that tactic as Dragic has been playing well too. Redick and Crawford are not great defenders and Bledsoe should be able to put up a big game.
Secondary Plays
Markieff Morris – I hate recommending Morris, but the match up is ideal for his style. He should see a bunch of open 3’s in this fast paced game. He is not consistent enough to play in cash games, but makes a great tournament play for a mid-level price.

Milwaukee
There are a bunch of good high scoring games on the slate tonight, but this is not one of them. The Bucks and the Spurs are two teams that are tough to get a read on for minutes as well as both play a slow-tempo game. The bucks are big underdogs tonight and you should most likely fade this game.

Secondary Plays
Brandon Knight – The one guy I could see playing is Knight as he makes a decent mid-level options at point guard. He will get his minutes and I really like his match up as Parker seems slow on defense. I think he is tournament only as the blowout is a possibility.
San Antonio
I hate playing Spurs and I really hate playing them when they are big 11-point favorites in a game with a total of 192’. Do yourself a favor and move on unless you want to take a shot at Duncan in a tournament game as he does have a great match up.

Detroit
What would have been another blowout on the slate a month or two ago, now has the possibility of being a close game as the Pistons have improved a lot since Smith was traded. They are still 7-point underdogs, as news came out that Jennings is out for the foreseeable future. This should open up one of the best value plays of the night.
Elite Plays
D.J. Augustin – Minutes equal production in DFS basketball and Augustin will have to step into the starter’s role. He is easily one of the top value plays tonight.
Greg Monroe – Taking last nights rough loss away, Monroe has been extremely consistent since the trade of Smith. He should step up his offensive game a bit with Jennings out and has been boarding at a huge rate lately. He is a great play if you cannot afford the top PFs.
Secondary Plays
Andre Drummond – We all know his story. He could go for 20 or 50 on any given night. He is always in play in tournament settings, but I cannot trust him for my cash lineups.
Toronto
Toronto is finally healthy this year and are looking to get some momentum going as a full squad. Not having to play against a fully healthy Pistons team may allow them to continue winning as they are 7-point favorites. The total of this game is 203 so it should be played at a decently high tempo, but with all their players back, I have a tough time finding players I like for the Raptors.

Secondary Plays
Kyle Lowry – His price has come down a bit and he will get a match up against Augustin. DeRozan has been struggling a lot since returning which puts a lot of the offensive load on Lowry still. If that continues, Lowry could make a sneaky play at PG.

Washington
Washington is coming off another rough performance in Portland. Washington has struggled a bit as of late, but are getting a great match up against the Nuggets in Denver. They will get a big time tempo boost tonight in a game with a 202 total. Beal and Gortat make decent plays tonight as they will benefit from the pace.
Elite Plays
John Wall – Wall has played real well in his last two games and his price is down from some prior struggles. Getting him under 9k on FD in a match up against the Nuggets is a steal.
Secondary Plays
Nene Hilario – He is cheap and has been pretty consistent lately. He has had 4 straight games over 25 points which is about what he needs for value. The match up could not be better as we saw what Bass was able to do against Denver the other night.
Denver
Lawson will be back for this game which Denver will need to snap them out of their current losing streak. They are small 2 point favorites tonight against a very solid defensive Wizards team. This Nuggets squad is another team who is getting healthy as Gallinari came back last game to play 17 minutes.
Elite Plays
None
Secondary Plays
J.J. Hickson – His price and recent play are too hard to ignore, especially on FD. If he gets the minutes he will put up the points, but that is a big if which puts him into the secondary plays section.
Kenneth Faried – He is another guy that if he gets consistent minutes he can put up big games. He has been pretty consistent as of late and should get you around 30-35 minutes tonight in a tough match up.

Boston
Boston is going into a very tough arena to play in right now that is coming off witnessing an amazing performance. They are the second largest underdog on the board tonight and could see a lot of bench players getting minutes.
Elite Plays
Brandon Bass – Bass is just too cheap to avoid as he is getting starters minutes and producing at a high rate. Even with the blowout, he should be able to hit value in 3 quarters if that is all he plays.
Secondary Plays

Golden State
If you were lucky enough to witness Klay’s performance you saw something great. If you were lucky enough to have him on Friday, then you probably made a few bucks. Golden State is playing at such a high level which is a major problem for DFS as they continue to blow teams out. As 17’ point favorites, that looks likely again today. Guys like Steph and Klay are tournament plays only.
