Denver at Golden State
- Vegas Line – Golden State -7, 212.5 Over/Under
- Denver Proj. Starters – Lawson-Foye-Chandler-Faried-Hickson
- Golden State Proj. Starters – Curry-Thompson-Iguodala-Lee-Bogut
Denver
The Nuggets and Warrios are two fast paced teams and this should be a fun one to watch. The total is set at 212 points which is one of the highest totals of the night. The Warriors have actually been pretty solid defensively though and Ty Lawson is the only Nuggets’ player with a favorable matchup.
- Ty Lawson – Lawson has really been playing well lately and I love his matchup against the Warriors. I love to target PG’s in games that are expected to be high scoring because the PG’s are responsible to push the ball up the floor. Lawson should post another double-double tonight.
Golden State
The Warriors have a solid matchup tonight against the Nuggets who have been very average defensively this season. There aren’t necessarily any matchups that I like any more than the others, so I will just say that all five starters are in play here. David Lee is probably my favorite play of the bunch though.
Dallas at L.A.Clippers
- Vegas Line – L.A.Clippers -5, 207 Over/Under
- Dallas Proj. Starters – Calderon-Ellis-Marion-Nowitzki-Dalembert
- L.A.Clippers Proj. Starters – Collison-Redick-Dudley-Griffin-Jordan
Dallas
The Mavericks take on the Clippers tonight in what should be a high scoring game. The Clippers make my job easy. Looking at their DvP rankings, they struggle to defend SG’s, PF’s, and Centers. I don’t trust any of the Centers on the Mavericks so that leaves us with Dirk Nowitzki and Monta Ellis. Both make decent plays tonight.
L.A.Clippers
The Clippers face a Mavericks defense that has been the epitome of average. They rank between 14th and 19th at defending every position. I like both bigs for the Mavericks, I think both Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan should play well.
- Darren Collison – Collison is fairly priced across the industry and should play well tonight against Calderon. He has really filled in nicely for the Clippers with Paul out and he should be able to crack double-digit assists again tonight. He is a safe bet to top 25 FP’s.
