On Friday night, the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks will play Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
Though many people expected a long series between these two conference champions, Jayson Tatum and the Celtics have dominated the competition to date, winning each of the first 3 games. This evening, they will have an opportunity to finish off the sweep and secure their franchise’s 18th title.

Daniel Gafford Over/Under 6.5 Points
Daniel Gafford isn’t a marquee player in the NBA, but he’s been plenty useful for Dallas in a small role during this series to date. Despite averaging only 17.7 minutes per game, Gafford is averaging 9.0 points for the Mavericks through 3 games against the Celtics.
Dating back to the Western Conference Finals, Gafford has scored 8+ points in 4 of his last 5 games, with his lone miss being a 6-point showing in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Assuming he continues to see 15+ minutes of playing time, this is a very playable number for him, given his strong efficiency.

Luka Doncic Over/Under 32.5 Points
In Game 3, Luka Doncic scored only 27 points, but he took a series-high 27 shot attempts and was in foul trouble, eventually fouling out late in the contest. Heading into Game 4, Dallas has their backs up against the wall, facing a seemingly insurmountable deficit, down 3-0 to Boston.
At a minimum, we should expect Doncic to be aggressive looking for his shot in this spot as he looks to keep his team’s season alive. Doncic has routinely been competitive at this market number when playing close to 40 minutes. In games in which he’s played at least 42 minutes this year, he’s yet to score fewer than 28 points and he’s scored at least 33 points 6 times. We will live with the results.

Jrue Holiday Over/Under 5.5 Rebounds
Jrue Holiday had only 4 rebounds in his most recent contest against the Mavericks, but he still had 11 rebound chances in that game. Overall, he’s averaging 7.7 rebounds and 14.7 rebound chances through the first 3 games of these NBA Finals.
Simply, Holiday has been one of the most effective players on either team on the glass to begin this series. His market number is simply far too low, given his recent level of production and opportunities. The math favors the over here.
