The NBA only has 3 games on tap for Thursday, but that doesn’t mean basketball fans will be light on entertainment. Even on a small slate, fans and bettors will get to see Donovan Mitchell, Zion Williamson, Domantas Sabonis, and other stars on the court.

The NBA injury report isn’t too ugly tonight either, with Yves Missi and Keegan Murray being the only extremely notable absences.

As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Thursday, October 29th

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 8:00 PM ET on Thursday, October 29th:

Zion Williamson UNDER 20.5 Points (-105, bet365)

Williamson is averaging 21.8 points per game this season, but it’s possible we see him in a slightly reduced role this evening on the second night of a back-to-back set.

When New Orleans played in a back-to-back set last Saturday against Denver, Williamson only played 28 minutes in regulation, but the team deployed him for all 5 minutes of overtime, so this went overlooked by a lot of projection systems.

Given Williamson’s injury history, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him have another reduced workload in this spot. If he plays fewer than 30 minutes, the math strongly favors the under.

Jeremiah Fears OVER 2.5 Rebounds (-130, bet365)

Fears didn’t have a rebound last Friday against Utah, but he’s posted 3+ boards in each of the other games he’s played so far this season. More notable from a betting perspective is that he’s consistently been seeing opportunities on the glass, with 6+ rebound chances in 3 of 4 games to date.

The Kings have allowed the 6th-most rebounds to opposing guards this season. ScoresAndOdds has Fears projected for 3.45 rebounds.

Dejounte Murray UNDER 6.5 Assists (-130, bet365)

Going back to the well with the same play that cashed for us yesterday – Dejounte Murray under assists.

Murray hasn’t had more than 10 potential assists in a game yet this season, and he only had 7 potential assists last night against the Nuggets. The Kings have allowed the 4th-most assists to opposing guards through 4 games, but they have allowed the 3rd fewest potential assists.

This suggests that there is likely some regression coming Sacramento’s way as opponents stop making such a high percentage of shots against them. There is still value on the under at this number, even against an underwhelming Sacramento defense.
