NBA Player Props Today – Friday, April 4, 2025

Klay Thompson UNDER 13.5 Points (-125, DraftKings)

Thompson enters play on Friday having scored 13+ points in each of his last 3 games, but it’s worth noting that he still didn’t play more than 30 minutes in any of those games. His recent volume from the floor was likely a little bit matchup dependent as well. Tonight, he will face a Clippers defense that has allowed the 8th-lowest success rate on above-the-break 3-point attempts since the All-Star break. The math favors the under.

Fred VanVleet OVER 4.5 Assists (-155, bet365)

Since the All-Star break, the Thunder have allowed the 5th-most potential assists per game to opposing guards. Entering play on Friday, VanVleet has recorded 9+ potential assists in each of his last 5 games. This is a good matchup for VanVleet to keep setting up his teammates to score.

Jarrett Allen OVER 14.5 Points (-105, BetMGM)

Since the All-Star break, the Spurs have allowed the 2nd-most field goal attempts per game in the restricted area and have allowed the 7th-highest success rate on such shot attempts. During that time frame, Allen leads the Cavaliers in shot attempts from the restricted area, which is where he attempts more than half of his shots. There is legitimate blowout risk in this matchup, but Allen has proven capable of scoring 15+ points in fewer than 30 minutes in good matchups. He should have a good chance to get the job done.
