NBA Player Props Today – Friday, December 27, 2024
- Karl-Anthony Towns Over/Under 13.5 Rebounds
- Devin Vassell Over/Under 15.5 Points
- Draymond Green Over/Under 7.5 Points
Karl-Anthony Towns UNDER 13.5 Rebounds (-118, FanDuel)
Karl-Anthony Towns had 22 rebounds against the Magic earlier this month, but that performance is likely an outlier performance that will be difficult to repeat this time around. Towns enters play having posted 10 rebounds or fewer in each of his last 3 games – primarily due to foul trouble, which has limited his minutes. Though it’s difficult to rely on a player to find himself in foul trouble, this is simply too high of a market number for a player who has struggled to defend without fouling of late. There are a number of different ways in which the under could cash here.
Devin Vassell OVER 15.5 Points (-130, DraftKings)
Devin Vassell hasn’t been particularly efficient from the floor in either of his last 2 games, shooting only 8-of-22. Yet, from a betting perspective, it’s encouraging to see his volume remain high. Vassell played 36 minutes on Christmas Day and has now attempted 10+ shots in each of his last 13 games. He gets a favorable matchup against a Brooklyn team that ranks 20th in defensive rating across their last 8 games. If Vassell experiences any positive regression with his efficiency this evening, he could be a threat to score 20 points.
Draymond Green OVER 7.5 Points (-105, DraftKings)
Stephen Curry has been ruled out against the Clippers, which should lead to an expanded role in the offense for Draymond Green. This season, Green is averaging 12.3 points per 30 minutes of action with Curry off of the floor, according to RotoGrinders CourtIQ. In each of the last 3 games that Green has played without Curry, he has scored in double figures and had 8+ shot attempts. Assuming Green has 8+ shot attempts again this evening, he will have a great opportunity to get the job done here.
