NBA Player Props Today – Friday, February 7, 2025

De’Aaron Fox OVER 6.5 Assists (-140, Bet365)

Prior to being traded, Fox was averaging 6.1 assists with the Kings on 11.7 potential assists per game. In his first game with the Spurs, Fox posted 13 assists on 19 potential assists, suggesting that he could be in for an even larger role as a facilitator with his new team.

Bettors shouldn’t overreact to a 1-game sample size for Fox with the Spurs, but it’s not far-fetched to think that Fox could push 8 assists per game playing alongside Victor Wembanyama. The Hornets have been improved defensively in recent weeks, but this is still a team that has allowed 6+ assists to Austin Reaves, Ben Simmons, D’Angelo Russell, James Harden, Malcolm Brogdon, and Jordan Poole in the last 10 days alone. This is a playable number.

Miles Bridges UNDER 23.5 Points (-120, DraftKings)

Assuming LaMelo Ball suits up tonight, this number is simply too high for Bridges. This season, Bridges has scored 24+ points in only 6 of 24 games in which Ball has been active. One of those 6 games was January 27, when Ball played only 9 minutes prior to exiting with an injury. According to CourtIQ, Bridges is averaging only 20.8 points per 36 minutes this year with Ball on the floor. The math favors the under, even in a game that could see a lot of possessions.

Jaime Jaquez OVER 3.5 Rebounds (-130, BetMGM)

Jimmy Butler is officially off of the Miami roster, which is good news for anyone who owns stock in Jaquez. Entering play on Friday, Jaquez has recorded 4+ rebounds in 15 of 23 games in which he’s played with Butler unavailable. According to CourtIQ, Jaquez is averaging 4.8 rebounds per 24 minutes this season with Butler off of the floor. Brooklyn ranks in the bottom third of the league in rebounds allowed per game across their last 8 contests, which makes this a favorable matchup for Jaquez.
