After a brief hiatus on Thanksgiving, the NBA returns on Friday with an 11-game slate to begin the weekend. The action will be headlined by a doubleheader on Prime Video, beginning with the Bucks against the Knicks at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the Mavericks against the Lakers.
As always, bettors should keep an eye on the NBA injury report ahead of tip-off. Domantas Sabonis, Paolo Banchero, and Trae Young will all be on the sidelines this evening, and there are a number of other notable names who are listed as questionable.

Best NBA Player Props for Friday, November 28th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 PM ET on Friday, November 28th:
- Terance Mann Over/Under 9.5 Points
- Collin Gillespie Over/Under 11.5 Points
- Precious Achiuwa Over/Under 7.5 Points
Terance Mann OVER 9.5 Points (-105, BetMGM)
BETMGMIn the lone game Michael Porter Jr. missed earlier this season, Mann had only 7 points, but he played 28 minutes and took 10 shots. It’s also worth noting that Mann had 5 fouls in that game, so it’s certainly possible that he could play north of 30 minutes this evening if he can keep himself out of foul trouble.
According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Mann is averaging 13.9 points per 36 minutes this season with Porter off of the floor. He should have enough volume to justify the risk here on Friday.
Collin Gillespie OVER 11.5 Points (-125, bet365)
BET365In 3 games without Grayson Allen, Ryan Dunn, and Jalen Green available this season, Gillespie has scored 15, 16, and 21 points. Perhaps most importantly, Gillespie has played at least 29 minutes and has taken at least 12 shot attempts in each of those contests.
According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Gillespie is averaging 13.7 points per 36 minutes this season with Allen, Dunn, and Green off of the floor. The Thunder lead the NBA in defensive rating, but they do allow a high rate of 3-point attempts. If Gillespie can connect on a pair of shots from the perimeter this evening, he should have a great chance to cash this wager – even in a tough matchup.
Precious Achiuwa OVER 7.5 Points (-110, BetMGM)
BETMGMAchiuwa has scored 10 points and 14 points in his last 2 games with Domantas Sabonis sidelined. Tonight, he draws a favorable matchup against the Jazz – a defense that has permitted the 3rd-highest success rate on field goal attempts in the restricted area during November.
According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Achiuwa is averaging 8.2 points per 24 minutes this season with Sabonis off of the floor. He shouldn’t need excessive volume tonight to have a good chance to score 8 points.
