Monday’s 9-game NBA slate features a doubleheader on Peacock, beginning with the Bulls against the Magic at 7:30 PM ET and followed by the Suns against the Lakers.

The NBA injury report once again has an extensive list of names on it to start the new week. Kristaps Porzingis, Alexandre Sarr, and PJ Washington are a few of the notable names who are listed as questionable as of this writing.

As always, be sure to keep an eye on the status of key players ahead of tip-off, and make sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to search for market inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Monday, December 1st

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Monday, December 1st:

Jaylon Tyson OVER 11.5 Points (+100, BetMGM)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONBETMGM

This season, Tyson has cleared this number in 6 of the 8 games that Sam Merrill has been unavailable and 5 of the 6 games that Jarrett Allen has missed. In 6 games that both Merrill and Allen have been out, Tyson has scored at least 14 points in 5 of those games.

Tonight, Larry Nance will also be out. According to CourtIQ, Tyson has averaged 11.4 points per 24 minutes this season with Merrill, Allen, and Nance off of the floor. We should see Tyson log closer to 30 minutes tonight, presenting a clear opportunity on his points prop.

If Tyson gets close to 10 shot attempts, he should have a great chance to get the job done against an Indiana team that ranks 6th in pace across their last 8 games.

Jalen Suggs OVER 16.5 Points (-112, DraftKings)

Suggs has only cleared this number in 2 of 6 games with Paolo Banchero inactive this season, but he was ejected in 1 of those games and is coming off of a 4-for-17 shooting performance this past Friday against the Pistons.

According to CourtIQ, Suggs has averaged 17.1 points per 30 minutes this season with Banchero off of the floor. Tonight, it’s possible we see him play closer to 34 minutes considering that Orlando hasn’t played in multiple days.

Chicago ranks 24th in defensive rating and leads the league in pace across their last 8 games. They have also allowed the 5th-most above-the-break 3-point attempts in that span, which is where nearly half of Suggs’ shot attempts have come from this season. He should have plenty of volume tonight. If we see any positive regression in terms of efficiency, he could threaten for 20 points.

Ivica Zubac OVER 11.5 Rebounds (-120, BetMGM)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONBETMGM

Zubac enters play ranked 4th in the NBA in rebound chances per game but only 6th in actual rebounds. This season, he’s converted only 53.4% of his rebound chances into actual rebounds, which is a sharp decline from his 60% conversion rate last season and 58.6% conversion rate from the season prior.

He’s struggled during his last 5 games, in particular, converting fewer than half of his chances into actual rebounds. Tonight could be a good bounce-back spot, facing a Miami team that has struggled to keep opposing centers off of the glass.

In the latter half of November alone, the Heat allowed 29 rebound chances to Andre Drummond, 20 rebound chances to Daniel Gafford, and 20 rebound chances to Karl-Anthony Towns. In their last 8 games, the Heat have allowed the 9th-most rebounds per game to the center position.

According to CourtIQ, Zubac has averaged 12 rebounds per 33 minutes with Bogdan Bogdanovic off of the floor this season. In this plus matchup, there should be upside for him to surpass that number.
