As always, be sure to keep an eye on the NBA injury report ahead of tip-off. We have already seen Ja Morant, Cooper Flagg, and Chet Holmgren ruled out, among others.
Per usual, keep an eye on the status of key players as we get closer to game time, and be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Monday, December 22nd
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 PM ET on Monday, December 22nd:
- Cam Spencer Over/Under 14.5 Points
- Jaylen Wells Over/Under 12.5 Points
- Tristan da Silva Over/Under 9.5 Points
Cam Spencer OVER 14.5 Points (-115, bet365)
Spencer has cleared this number in 4 of his last 5 games with Ja Morant unavailable, scoring as many as 21 points in that span. He’s also seen his minutes creep up of late, playing 29, 32, and 37 minutes in his last 3 games with Morant sidelined.
We are getting a discount on the number tonight because of the tough matchup against the Thunder, but Spencer should have the volume to justify the risk.
Jaylen Wells OVER 12.5 Points (+100, Caesars)
Wells is another example of a player who has his line priced low because of the tough matchup. However, it’s difficult to ignore the fact that he’s cleared this number in 8 of his last 9 games with Ja Morant inactive.
In Wells’ lone miss during that stretch, he still had 10 field goal attempts, but he had an uncharacteristically poor night shooting the basketball. Similar to Spencer, there should be enough volume to give him a good chance to cash – even against a strong defensive opponent.
Tristan da Silva UNDER 9.5 Points (-107, DraftKings)
Magic forward da Silva has regressed sharply since his early season success. He has only scored in double figures 3 times in his last 10 games, and he hasn’t scored more than 12 points in a game in over a month.
Golden State hasn’t been particularly impressive defensively of late, but da Silva is neither a lock to see heavy minutes, nor is he a guarantee to see anywhere near 10 shot attempts. There is value on the under.
