Monday’s NBA slate features 3 games, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET with the Kings taking on the Pacers.
As always, make sure to keep an eye on the NBA injury report ahead of tip-off. Anthony Edwards, Dillon Brooks, and Keegan Murray are each listed as questionable as of this writing.
All 3 of those players have the potential to completely reshuffle rotations and, consequently, create value on the player prop market if they happen to be ruled out.

Best NBA Player Props for Monday, December 8th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Monday, December 8th:
- Russell Westbrook Over/Under 7.5 Assists
- Julius Randle Over/Under 22.5 Points
- Julian Champagnie Over/Under 9.5 Points
Russell Westbrook UNDER 7.5 Assists (-154, FanDuel)
Since Jay Huff was thrust into a more prominent role for Indiana, the Pacers’ defense has improved significantly. Through 14 games, Indiana ranked 26th in defensive rating. In 9 games since that point, they rank 8th in defensive rating.
Since Thanksgiving, the Pacers have allowed the 6th-fewest assists per game to guards. Only Josh Giddey has managed more than 14 potential assists in a game against them during that span.
According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Westbrook is averaging 7.9 assists per 30 minutes with Domantas Sabonis off of the floor this season. In a tough matchup, we could see that per-minute production drop further, creating some value on the under at this line.
Julius Randle OVER 22.5 Points (-120, DraftKings)
This is a bit of a speculative bet, with Anthony Edwards officially listed as questionable as of this writing. This season, Randle is averaging 29.6 points per 36 minutes with Edwards off of the floor. In 4 games with Edwards unavailable, Randle has scored 24 points, 33 points, 30 points, and 19 points.
Bettors who prefer more certainty may want to wait for confirmation of whether or not Edwards is suiting up, but those who are willing to take a risk could find themselves in an advantageous situation later this evening.
Julian Champagnie UNDER 9.5 Points (-120, DraftKings)
Champagnie has scored in double figures in each of his last 2 games, but it’s taken strong efficiency to get to that point – 62.5% shooting against the Magic and 50% shooting against the Cavaliers. Champagnie made multiple 3-point attempts in both of those games.
In his last 4 games, Champagnie hasn’t taken more than 10 shots. If we continue to see such limited volume from him, we are likely to see him finish below this number as soon as he experiences some expected negative regression in efficiency.
