NBA Player Props Today – Thursday, January 25, 2024

Spencer Dinwiddie Over/Under 1.5 Three-Pointers Made

Spencer Dinwiddie had been hot from 3-point territory heading into Tuesday’s game against the Knicks, making 11-of-18 attempts across his previous three contests, but he came crashing down to earth with an 0-for-4 performance to begin the week. Dinwiddie is not a particularly gifted perimeter shooter, having shot only 28.9% from deep last year and only 32.8% from deep this season. The Timberwolves rank 7th in opponent 3-point attempts and 3rd in opponent 3-point percentage across the last 30 days, making this a tough matchup for Dinwiddie. At plus money, the under is a worthwhile risk here.

Nic Claxton Over/Under 11.5 Rebounds

Nic Claxton has at least 12 rebounds in 8 of his last 12 games, but he is still only 13-for-33 to the over at this market number for the season ahead of tip off on Thursday. Claxton is averaging a healthy 21.3 rebound chances during his last 12 games, but he is unlikely to get to that market number this evening against a Timberwolves team that has allowed more than 17 rebound chances to only one opposing center during the month of January. Assuming Claxton sees 17 rebound chances or fewer in this game, it is difficult to see him being able to grab 12+ rebounds.

Kristaps Porzingis Over/Under 17.5 Points

Kristaps Porzingis has been extremely inconsistent on the road this season, scoring 20+ points nine times while scoring 15 points or fewer seven times. He draws a tough matchup tonight against the Heat, which have done a solid job defending opposing centers of late, holding 6 of the last 7 centers they have faced below their pregame market number for points. Expect him to struggle with his efficiency this evening, likely leading to an underwhelming scoring output.
