On Thursday evening, the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves will play Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, with tip-off scheduled for 8:30 PM ET on TNT. Luka Doncic and the Mavericks own a 3-1 lead and can secure their spot in the NBA Finals with a win.
Ahead of tip-off, Mike Conley, Dereck Lively, and Doncic are each listed as questionable. These are names to keep an eye on throughout the afternoon.

Anthony Edwards Over/Under 7.5 Rebounds
Edwards is averaging 8.8 rebounds per game during the Western Conference Finals, but his recent success on the glass is likely unsustainable. Edwards averaged only 5.1 rebounds per game during the Conference Semifinals against Denver and only 5.4 rebounds per game during the regular season. There are a few different realistic paths to the under hitting in this spot.

Naz Reid Over/Under 10.5 Points
Reid played only 20 minutes in Minnesota’s Game 4 win over Dallas, scoring only 6 points on 6 shot attempts. That being said, he had scored 11+ points in each of his prior 4 games, including a pair of games with 24 minutes played or fewer.
Reid hasn’t been the same key difference-maker against the Mavericks that he was against the Nuggets, but 20 minutes is likely his floor for playing time this evening, with only upside from there. We have seen Reid explode for as many 23 points during these playoffs, with his ability to stretch the floor being a major benefit for a team that is struggling offensively right now.
This is good value on a player that is likely priced too low after a poor showing on Tuesday.

Daniel Gafford Over/Under 9.5 Points
Dereck Lively has been upgraded to questionable for Game 5 after missing a portion of this series due to a neck sprain. Still, Gafford has value here. Gafford has scored 10 points, 16 points, 5 points, and 12 points, respectively, during the first 4 games of the Western Conference Finals, with multiple games of 9+ shot attempts and only 1 game with fewer than 6 shot attempts.
Even if Lively returns to the floor this evening, this is a number that Gafford is capable of clearing. He has scored 10+ points in 7 of his last 10 games with Lively active and 19 of 35 such games overall this season.
