Jusuf Nurkic Over/Under 10.5 Rebounds

Jusuf Nurkic Over/Under 10.5 Rebounds
Jusuf Nurkic had only 4 rebounds on 12 rebound chances in Game 1. In the last two weeks, only one opposing center has managed to hit the over on their rebounding prop against the Timberwolves. During that stretch, Minnesota held Nurkic to 5 rebounds or fewer twice.
Overall this season, Nurkic managed 11+ rebounds in only 16 of 38 road contests. He averaged a full 1.2 rebounds per game fewer on the road than he did on his home floor. The under makes sense in this spot.

Bobby Portis Over/Under 17.5 Points
Bobby Portis only had 15 points in Game 1, but he played only 31 minutes due to a blowout game script. In Game 2, it’s likely he sees closer to 35 minutes, if not more. Portis has played 32+ minutes only twice this season, but it resulted in 27 points against the Jazz and 24 points against the Celtics.
In 5 home games this season with Giannis Antetokounmpo inactive, Portis has scored 28 points, 31 points, 19 points, 30 points, and 15 points. In a more competitive game, it’s likely that Portis is able to flirt with 20 points against a team that has struggled to defend opposing power forwards of late.

Kawhi Leonard Over/Under 22.5 Points
To put it bluntly, players don’t miss playoff games unless they are genuinely unwell. Kawhi Leonard missed Game 1 of this series due to a knee injury but will reportedly try to play this evening.
Simply, this is a very difficult matchup for him to return to, facing a Dallas team that ranked in the top 10 in defensive rating from March 1st to the end of the regular season. The Mavericks have been particularly tough against opposing small forwards of late, having not allowed more than 22 points to anyone at the position since April 7th.
If Leonard is limited at all, there is a great path to the under. Even if he’s cleared to play north of 30 minutes, it’s going to be tough for him to put together a strong performance.
