NBA Player Props for Tuesday, 12/23: Best Bets & Predictions Today

What kind of performances can we expect from Shaedon Sharpe, Rudy Gobert, and CJ McCollum? Follow along as our NBA betting analyst, Nick Galaida, breaks down three of his favorite NBA prop bets for Tuesday, December 23rd. Nearly the entire league is in action this evening, with 14 NBA games on tap for Tuesday. The action begins at 7:00 p.m. ET, with games spread throughout the evening.
Of course, a big slate also means a lot of names on the NBA injury report tonight. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Ja Morant, Lauri Markkanen, and Jalen Brunson are only a few of the notable names who have already been ruled out.
Per usual, keep an eye on the status of key players as we get closer to game time, and be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Tuesday, December 23rd
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Tuesday, December 23rd:
- Shaedon Sharpe Over/Under 24.5 Points
- Rudy Gobert Over/Under 10.5 Points
- CJ McCollum Over/Under 17.5 Points
Shaedon Sharpe OVER 24.5 Points (-120, BetMGM)
This season, Sharpe has played 3 games without Jerami Grant active, scoring 29, 23, and 25 points in those contests. According to our RotoGrinders CourtIQ tool, Sharpe is averaging 26.5 points per 34 minutes with Grant off of the floor this season.
Sharpe should be good for roughly 20 shot attempts once again on Tuesday, which would be more than enough to justify the risk on this prop.
Rudy Gobert OVER 10.5 Points (+102, Caesars)
Nearly all of the shots Gobert attempts come in the restricted area, which is an area of the floor that New York’s defense has been permitting a fair amount of volume this month. In December, only 10 teams are allowing more field goal attempts per game to centers in the restricted area than the Knicks.
Gobert has been playing around 35 minutes per game since returning from a brief absence due to personal reasons. If he’s able to stay out of foul trouble tonight, he should have a good chance to clear this number.
CJ McCollum OVER 17.5 Points (-125, FanDuel)
In December, McCollum is averaging 20.8 points on 16.4 shot attempts per game. He’s scored 18+ points in 6 of his last 9 games and is positioned for another strong night scoring the basketball on Tuesday against a Charlotte team that ranks 19th in defensive rating across their last 8 contests.
Charlotte has the added challenge this evening of being on the second half of a road back-to-back after playing last night in Cleveland. This will be their 3rd game in 3 different cities in the last 4 days. McCollum should be able to have some success against a tired Hornets defense.
