NBA Player Props Today – Tuesday, December 3, 2024

Jonathan Kuminga OVER 21.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120, BetMGM)

Draymond Green has been ruled out for the Warriors, which could open up some additional scoring opportunities for Jonathan Kuminga. According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Green is averaging 23.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per 36 minutes this season with Green off the floor. At that rate, Kuminga would need to play only a little over 20 minutes this evening to have a chance to clear this market number. This isn’t the most favorable matchup for Kuminga, but there is a margin for error if Kuminga sees 25+ minutes.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 30.5 Points (-115, DraftKings)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has only eclipsed this market number in 8 of 20 games this season, but he’s been heating up of late, with 32+ points in 6 of his last 7 games. In 3 NBA Cup games this season, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 32.0 points in 35.7 minutes per game. He gets a great matchup against a Utah team that ranks 25th in defensive rating across their last 8 games. If we get a reasonably competitive game script this evening, Gilgeous-Alexander should have every opportunity to get the job done here.

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 5.5 Assists (-152, FanDuel)

Entering play on Tuesday, Giannis Antetokounmpo has eclipsed this market number in 7 of his last 8 games. During that stretch, he’s had double-digit potential assists 7 times, indicating that this is a sustainable rate of actual assists for him. In those 8 games, Damian Lillard is averaging 9.8 assists on 13.5 potential assists for the Bucks, with Antetokounmpo not far behind at 8.4 assists and 13.3 potential assists per game. No other member of the Milwaukee offense is averaging more than 5.3 potential assists per game during that time frame. This is a palatable matchup for Antetokounmpo, facing a Detroit defense that has been around the league average this season in assists allowed to opposing forwards.
