NBA Player Props Today – Tuesday, February 25, 2025
- Luka Doncic Over/Under 7.5 Assists
- Stephon Castle Over/Under 15.5 Points + Assists
- Draymond Green Over/Under 15.5 Points + Rebounds
Luka Doncic UNDER 7.5 Assists (+120, bet365)
This is an obvious “revenge” spot for Doncic against the Mavericks, the team which unexpectedly traded him in his prime from the only franchise he had ever called home in the NBA. That being said, Doncic simply hasn’t had a massive role as a facilitator since joining the Lakers.
In 4 games with the Lakers, Doncic is averaging only 5.8 assists and 10.0 potential assists per game – the latter of which is behind LeBron James and Austin Reaves on his own team. Even if we exclude his first 2 games that he was on a minutes restriction, Doncic is averaging only 11.0 potential assists since the All-Star break.
At plus money, the math supports the under.
Stephon Castle OVER 15.5 Points + Assists (-102, FanDuel)
Castle carried a lot of momentum into the All-Star break, averaging 18.0 points and 3.3 assists per game to begin February. Unfortunately for him, he has been mostly a disasterclass since that point, shooting only 29% in 3 games since the break – averaging 8.0 points and 1.7 assists.
The good news for Castle is that his volume has mostly still been there despite his struggles. He played only 13 minutes against the Pistons but has still taken 9+ shot attempts in each of his last 3 games, and he’s had 4+ potential assists in 2 of of those contests as well. Castle gets a good matchup against the Pelicans, which presents a nice bounce-back opportunity for him and a nice buy-low spot for sports bettors.
Draymond Green UNDER 15.5 Points + Rebounds (-118, BetMGM)
Green has gone over this number in 3 of his last 4 games, but he’s been unsustainably efficient in that span. Green, who is shooting 42.9% from the floor this season, has shot 50% or better from the field in 3 of his last 4 contests. His rebounding opportunities remain limited as well, with Jimmy Butler in the mix and the rest of the team’s rotations leading to Green playing 30 minutes or fewer most nights. Green is averaging only 8.5 points per game and 5.8 rebounds this season. We could see some regression to the mean this evening from him.
