NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, April 24, 2024

Jrue Holiday Over/Under 10.5 Points
Tyler Herro Over/Under 5.5 Assists
Jonas Valanciunas Over/Under 12.5 Points

Jrue Holiday Over/Under 10.5 Points

Jrue Holiday had only 6 points in Game 1 of this series, but he did have 8 field goal attempts. Simply, he was inefficient with his opportunities, making only 2 shots.

During the postseason, Holiday will be primarily tasked with expending his energy on the defensive end of the floor, but this is still a low market number for a player of his caliber. During the regular season, Holiday scored 11+ points in 48 of 70 games overall, including 23 of 36 home games.

We will live with the results here.

Tyler Herro Over/Under 5.5 Assists

In the series opener on Sunday, Tyler Herro had only 4 assists and 8 potential assists in 34 minutes. Following the All-Star Break, the Celtics allowed the 4th-fewest assists per game. Even without Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier, Herro has only eclipsed this market number in 6 of 14 games this season, including only 4 of 9 games on the road. The math favors the under in this spot.

Jonas Valanciunas Over/Under 12.5 Points

Jonas Valanciunas scored 13 points on Sunday against the Thunder, but bettors shouldn’t expect him to continue scoring at a high rate throughout this series. The vast majority of his shot attempts during the regular season came from the restricted area or the paint. Following the All-Star Break, Oklahoma City ranked 5th in opponent field goal percentage in the restricted area and 11th in opponent field goal percentage in the paint. They are likely to make life difficult for Valanciunas in Game 2.
