NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, April 9, 2025
- Justin Edwards Over/Under 12.5 Points
- Alex Sarr Over/Under 7.5 Rebounds
- Jimmy Butler Over/Under 5.5 Assists
Justin Edwards OVER 12.5 Points (-125, DraftKings)
Edwards hasn’t scored 13 points in a game since March 29, but that drought could come to an end tonight assuming he’s healthy enough to endure a normal allotment of minutes. Edwards scored only 5 points this past Saturday but was removed from that contest after only 11 minutes due to injury. Then he missed the team’s subsequent game.
Tonight he gets a favorable matchup against the Wizards – a bottom-third defense since the All-Star break. Edwards should have his chances to make an impact on the offensive end of the floor this evening.
Alex Sarr UNDER 7.5 Rebounds (-145, DraftKings)
Sarr had 12 rebounds on 19 rebound chances in his most recent game, but that was an outlier performance relative to what we had seen over a larger sample prior to that point. In his previous 9 games, Sarr had 11 rebound chances or fewer 6 times. Philadelphia isn’t a particularly tough matchup, but Sarr has simply not had many opportunities on the glass on a consistent basis in recent weeks. Since the All-Star break, he’s averaging only 6.1 rebounds and 11.9 rebound chances per game. The math favors the under.
Jimmy Butler UNDER 5.5 Assists (-154, DraftKings)
In 5 games to begin April, Butler has taken a step backwards as a facilitator, averaging only 3.4 assists and 8.0 potential assists per contest. Notably, Draymond Green and Stephen Curry are both averaging more potential assists per game than Butler during that stretch. Entering play on Wednesday, Butler has recorded 12 potential assists or fewer in 7 consecutive games in which Green and Curry have been active. Butler isn’t the most stable player to wager on, but his role appears to be in transition in Golden State, with the market still being a little bit slow to adjust.
