NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, December 4, 2024
- Nic Claxton Over/Under 9.5 Rebounds
- Damian Lillard Over/Under 24.5 Points
- Giannis Antetokounmpo Over/Under 6.5 Assists
Nic Claxton UNDER 9.5 Rebounds (-142, DraftKings)
Nic Claxton has recorded 10+ rebounds in only 4 of his 16 games played so far this season. Since November 11, Claxton has gone under this market number in 7 consecutive games, averaging only 12.9 rebound chances per contest. The Nets are a little bit banged up heading into this evening, which could lead to Claxton earning a few more opportunities than usual on the glass. Still, there simply isn’t much upside for a player who has a very narrow role with Brooklyn. The math favors the under.
Damian Lillard OVER 24.5 Points (-125, Bet365)
Damian Lillard finally seems to be finding his footing this season. After an underwhelming start to the campaign, Lillard has now scored 25+ points in each of his last 4 contests, shooting 49.3% from the field and 50.0% from 3-point territory during that stretch. Tonight, Lillard gets a dream matchup against Atlanta, a team that ranks 20th in defensive rating this year while playing at the 2nd-quickest pace in the entire NBA. The Hawks’ perimeter defense leaves a lot to be desired, which could lead to another strong performance from Lillard.
Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 6.5 Assists (+115, DraftKings)
Since November 12, Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 8.2 assists on a team-high 13.9 potential assists per game. During that stretch, he has eclipsed this market number 7 times in 9 games. This evening, he gets a favorable matchup against a quick-paced Atlanta team that has allowed more assists to opposing forwards than the league average this season. There is little evidence to suggest that Giannis is going to stop facilitating at a high level in the near future. This is great value once again.
