NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, March 27, 2024

LeBron James Over/Under 26.5 Points

There is little doubt that LeBron is still one of the most talented players in the NBA, but this market number is simply too high. This season, LeBron has scored fewer than 27 points in 40 of his 62 games, including 20 of his last 30 games and 6 of his last 10 games. The Grizzlies are only 4-12 since the All-Star Break, but their defense during that stretch has been closer to mediocre than a travesty. In the last 3 weeks, Miles Bridges is the only opposing forward to score 27+ points against Memphis. From a probabilistic standpoint, the under makes sense here.

Kris Murray Over/Under 10.5 Points

Sometimes, we just have to trust (relatively) bad basketball players to be (relatively) bad basketball players. Murray has attempted 11+ field goals in 4 consecutive games for the Trail Blazers, but he’s shooting only 44% on those attempts. On Monday, he was an abysmal 2-for-11 from the field against the Rockets. In his last 4 games, Murray has attempted most of his shots from either around the rim or from beyond the 3-point arc. Since the All-Star Break, the Hawks rank 8th in opponent field goal percentage in the restricted area and 8th in opponent field goal percentage on 3-point attempts from above the break. Murray doesn’t profile particularly well in this matchup, making the under a worthwhile risk.

Stephen Curry Over/Under 26.5 Points

During March, Curry is averaging only 21.8 points per game. On Wednesday, he will have to play the Magic on the road, which doesn’t bode well for his chances of a bounce-back performance. This season, Curry is averaging only 25.8 points per game on the road, with less efficiency from the field and 3-point line than at home. In 31 road contests, he’s scored 27+ points only 14 times. Since the All-Star Break, Orlando’s defense ranks 7th in opponent 3-point percentage on attempts from above the break. There are a lot of data points leaning towards the under in this spot.
