NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, November 20, 2024
- Damian Lillard Over/Under 24.5 Points
- Desmond Bane Over/Under 17.5 Points
- Josh Giddey Over/Under 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Damian Lillard OVER 24.5 Points (-110, Bet365)
Lillard has posted 19 points or fewer in each of his last 3 games, but it’s worth pointing out that he’s shot only 33.3% from the field, including 1 for 18 from 3-point territory during that stretch. Lillard is shooting 43.8% from the floor for his career, including 37% from deep, so there is obviously some expected positive regression coming sooner or later.
Tonight, he gets a dream matchup against Chicago, who ranks 28th in defensive rating across their last 8 games while playing at the quickest pace in the entire NBA. Lillard might be able to clear this market number in 3 quarters if everything goes according to plan.
Desmond Bane OVER 17.5 Points (-110, FanDuel)
Desmond Bane has been extremely underwhelming this season, averaging only 16 points per game after averaging 23.7 points per game last season. He has been even worse to begin November, scoring only 11.3 points per game across his last 3 games. The good news from a betting perspective is that this could be a nice buy-low spot.
Bane’s shot attempts and minutes per game are down compared to last season, but he’s still averaging enough to make him a viable threat to score 20 points on an efficient shooting night. This evening, he gets to play a Philadelphia team that ranks 22nd in opponent field goal percentage allowed on above-the-break 3-point attempts, which is where Bane attempts nearly all of his long-range shots.
Bane should have plenty of opportunities with Memphis being short-handed due to injuries.
Josh Giddey OVER 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120, Bet365)
Josh Giddey isn’t particularly impactful to the outcomes of basketball games, but he typically finds a way to collect a fair number of points, rebounds, and assists on a nightly basis. Entering play on Wednesday, this is a market number that he has cleared in 10 of 15 games played this season, including 5 of 9 road contests, and 5 of 9 Chicago losses.
In short, he’s been competitive at this number regardless of game script and regardless of whether the game was played at home or on the road. Milwaukee’s defense has been trending up of late, but they have still been allowing a fair number of rebounds and assists to opposing guards. If Giddey is reasonably efficient shooting the basketball here, he should have a chance to get the job done.
