NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions for Thursday (11/14)

Doncic of the Mavs

I’m here to share a few of my (free!) top picks for today’s NBA slate on PrizePicks. Most of these predictions are heavily based on our projections, but we can also find an extra edge by watching games and recognizing certain intricacies before the market is able to react. Be mindful of the fact that the news cycle in the NBA is fluid, so the picks below may become more or less appealing depending on player availability. But rest assured that our NBA DFS projections team is making updates as soon as news breaks.

There is just 1 game on the board as the NBA is set to tip off on 11/14. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on PrizePicks this Thursday evening.

PrizePicks – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Mavs vs. Jazz NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Mavs vs. Jazz NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Luka Doncic Less Than 17.5 Rebounds and Assists

Luka is one of the best all-around players in the league, but his assists numbers have taken a hit this season. And his rebounding numbers can fluctuate too, especially with the team having multiple players capable of contributing in that area.

While Luka can easily put up a triple-double, taking less than 17.5 combined rebounds and assists is a solid play—he’ll likely score big but may not reach that high of a total in the other categories.

Dereck Lively More Than 9.5 Points and Assists

Lively has been a revelation for the Mavericks, showing off both his scoring touch and playmaking ability as a young big man. With his increasing role in the offense, he’s been involved in pick-and-roll situations and has shown that he can contribute offensively beyond just finishing at the rim.

With his expanding role in the rotation, Lively is primed to surpass 9.5 points and assists. He’s a versatile player who’s growing into a key piece, making this a great opportunity to hop aboard this pick.

Daniel Gafford More Than 11.5 Points and Assists

Since joining the Mavericks in the middle of last season, Gafford has quickly established himself as a key presence in the frontcourt. While he’s known for his rebounding and shot blocking, his offensive role has expanded, especially with the Mavs needing him to contribute more in scoring and playmaking.

Gafford has been active in pick-and-roll situations and has developed chemistry with Doncic, which helps create more opportunities for him to chip in with points and assists. His athleticism and expanding offensive role make this a solid play.
