NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions for Friday (11/22)

Oubre of the Sixers

I’m here to share a few of my (free!) top picks for today’s NBA slate on PrizePicks. Most of these predictions are heavily based on our projections, but we can also find an extra edge by watching games and recognizing certain intricacies before the market is able to react. Be mindful of the fact that the news cycle in the NBA is fluid, so the picks below may become more or less appealing depending on player availability. But rest assured that our NBA DFS projections team is making updates as soon as news breaks.

We have 8 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 11/22. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on PrizePicks this Friday evening.

First… Sign Up to Make NBA PrizePicks Picks

If you want to play along but haven’t signed up yet, grab a special offer with our PrizePicks promo code “GRINDERS” to get $50 on a $5 entry! PrizePicks – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Nets vs. Sixers NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Nets vs. Sixers NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Kelly Oubre Less Than 16.5 Points + Rebounds

This is one of the top picks on the board according to our fantasy pick’em tool, with an edge of 15.66%.

While Oubre will likely start in place of Paul George (ruled out), Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey are available, not to mention the impressive rookie, Jared McCain. The only way I see Oubre getting there tonight is if he runs extremely hot with his shooting efficiency.

Mavs vs. Nuggets NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Mavs vs. Nuggets NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Dereck Lively More/Less Than 7.5 Rebounds

This play on Lively projects to win 68.38% of the time, which represents a 10.64% edge.

Lively surpassed this number in 4 of the first 6 games of the season. But since then, his play on the glass has slipped, as he has 8+ rebounds in only 1 of the last 5 games. The absence of Luka Doncic tonight could obviously mean more rebound opportunities for Lively, but I also think it could lower the minutes floor on Lively, as he excels at playing off of Luka as a complementary piece. With no Luka, the Mavs could look to other options.

Celtics vs. Wizards NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Celtics vs. Wizards NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Al Horford More Than 8.5 Points

While the projections might not be crazy about this play (just a 2.22% edge), I am. And that is mainly due to the matchup.

No team has allowed more points per game to centers this season than the Wizards. With this being an NBA Cup game, perhaps Horford racks up a few more minutes than he otherwise would in a game with a 16-point spread. Regardless, I expect Horford to bang home at least 3 triples against this porous defense and make this one sweat free for us.
