NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions for Monday (12/2)

Butler of the Heat

I’m here to share a few of my (free!) top picks for today’s NBA slate on PrizePicks. Most of these predictions are heavily based on our projections, but we can also find an extra edge by watching games and recognizing certain intricacies before the market is able to react. Be mindful of the fact that the news cycle in the NBA is fluid, so the picks below may become more or less appealing depending on player availability. But rest assured that our NBA DFS projections team is making updates as soon as news breaks.

We have 4 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 12/2. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on PrizePicks this Monday evening.

If you want to play along but haven’t signed up yet, grab a special offer with our PrizePicks promo code “GRINDERS” to get $50 on a $5 entry! PrizePicks – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Heat vs. Celtics NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Heat vs. Celtics NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Jimmy Butler More Than 21.5 Points + Rebounds

This Butler picks shows a strong chance of hitting according to our projections, with a 64.80% win probability and 7.06% edge. Butler’s consistent performance and ability to impact multiple aspects of the game make this an attractive option to put on our PrizePicks slips. Miami relies heavily on Butler’s scoring and rebounding, and he’s obviously demonstrated the ability to step his game up in key matchups.

Lakers vs. Timberwolves NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Lakers vs. Timberwolves NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Naz Reid More Than 11.5 Points + Assists

With a 62.00% win probability and 4.26% edge, this points + assists play for Reid also makes for a solid option. Even though he doesn’t start, Reid is 3rd on the team in points per 36 minutes. So despite an almost nonexistent assists per game average (1.5), he could top this number on points alone.

Pelicans vs. Hawks NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Pelicans vs. Hawks NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Jalen Johnson Less Than 14 Rebounds + Assists

Johnson offers an intriguing bet with a 61.37% win probability and 3.63% edge. Atlanta’s dynamic lineup and Johnson’s specific role suggest he’s likely to stay below this combined statistical threshold. With the Pelicans getting a little healthier, this matchup may not be as good as it appears on paper.
