I’m here to share a few of my (free!) top picks for today’s NBA slate on PrizePicks. Most of these predictions are heavily based on our projections.
Be mindful of the fact that the news cycle in the NBA is fluid, so the picks below may become more or less appealing depending on player availability. But rest assured that our NBA DFS projections team is making updates as soon as news breaks.
We have 10 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 2/3. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on PrizePicks this Monday evening.

If you want to play along but haven’t signed up yet, grab a special offer with our PrizePicks promo code “GRINDERS” to get $50 on a $5 entry! PrizePicks – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.
I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Magic vs. Warriors NBA PrizePicks Predictions
Here are the Magic vs. Warriors NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:
Wendell Carter Jr. More Than 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
His 2024-25 season averages (8.7 PTS, 7.3 REB, 2.3 AST) already total 18.3 PRA, comfortably above the threshold. Recent performance reinforces this trend: he’s averaged 17.6 points + rebounds and 2.7 assists across his last 10 games, culminating in 20.3 total PRA. We project him at 19.26 PRA, with simulations indicating a 63% hit rate and 5.2% edge. Carter’s role remains stable amid Orlando’s frontcourt absences, and his 25+ minutes in 15 of his last 17 games provide ample opportunity. With seven 16+ PRA performances in his last 10 outings, the trend aligns with projections.
Suns vs. Trail Blazers NBA PrizePicks Predictions
Here are the Suns vs. Trail Blazers NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:
Jerami Grant Less Than 5.5 Rebounds + Assists
Grant’s projected combined rebounds and assists from us (4.68) fall below the 5.5 threshold, supported by recent trends and matchup dynamics. He averages 3.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists this season, but his last 10 games show a dip to 3.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists, with totals exceeding 5.5 only twice in that span. Our simulations show a 62.3% rate for this, backed by a 4.5% statistical edge, reinforcing the likelihood of Grant finishing with fewer than 5.5 combined rebounds and assists.
Hawks vs. Pistons NBA PrizePicks Predictions
Here are the Hawks vs. Pistons NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:
Trae Young Less Than 13.5 Rebounds + Assists
Young’s projected rebounds and assists (12.08) align below the 13.5 threshold, supported by recent trends and matchup factors. Over his last 10 games, he averages 11.7 combined rebounds and assists, with totals exceeding 13.5 only twice. His role as Atlanta’s primary playmaker prioritizes assists over rebounds (9.1 assists vs. 2.6 rebounds in this stretch). Our simulations indicate a 61.6% success rate for this outcome, backed by a 3.8% statistical edge.
